This post is in English, as I want to talk about my great-grandmother, Binny.
Binny, or actually Robena Foland, is a very nice lady that my father met on a business trip. Daddy was flying to Las Vegas for a summit. On the second flight, from Houston to Las Vegas, he sat next to an enthusiastic, conversable lady. At first he thought she was going to Las Vegas for a good gamble, but he was wrong.
Binny is a caretaking woman, who was on her way to visit a good friend, Betty. Her husband was very ill, and Binny went over there to pay him a visit, and help Betty.
During the flight Marcel and Binny talked a lot. At the end of the flight they exchanged their contact details, and agreed to write each other. As they didn’t exchange e-mail addresses, but only postal addresses, Marcel had to start writing letters again. That’s a whole different story.
This happened 1,5 years back, and ever since they exchange letters. My great-grandmother was very excited to hear from me. She even send me some very nice presents. Here are some pictures.
Kisses and hugges to Binny,
Milou
